Mobility Matters offers free, one-on-one door-through-door volunteer rides for ambulatory, otherwise homebound Contra Costa County residents age 60 or older who need escorted help, can call to request rides, and cannot use other transportation for medical or dental care or basic necessities. Certified service animals are welcome. Apply through Become a Client or call 925-284-6161. The provider screens applicants; availability, wait time and a ride are not guaranteed until the rider is accepted and a trip is scheduled. This is a regional nonprofit service, not a City of Brentwood program.
