During the pilot, BART-trip-related Aira calls are free 24/7 throughout the BART system. Aira Explorer can assist with station entrances, fare gates, machines, platforms and trains. Download the app, create an account and select BART under Browse Access Offers; a phone and connectivity are needed. The announcement states no Pittsburg-residency rule or formal eligibility-verification process. Pilot ends Sunday, Jan. 3, 2027.
